Eric Priestley
Eric came to tattooing after 20+ years in the arts -- He's been a studio tech, printer, designer, game artist, illustrator, furniture builder, engraver and monument artist. After two years of apprenticeship with George Long, Eric feels he's finally found his calling: Tattooing meaningful marks, made to last a lifetime.
Eric is most inspired by ancient decorative art and "animal style" motifs; coiled, glyphic forms that harken to archaic engravings and carvings. Other influences include 19th century illustration, 20th century comic art, world folklore, E. Asian scroll paintings, woodcuts and woodcarving.
