Eric Priestley
Eric came to tattooing after 20+ years in the arts -- He's been a studio tech, printer, designer, printmaker, game artist, illustrator, furniture builder, engraver and monument artist. Nearly two years into his apprenticeship with George Long, Eric feels he's finally found his calling: Tattooing meaningful marks, made to last a lifetime.
Eric is most inspired by ancient folk art and "animal style" motifs. Coiled, glyphic forms that harken to archaic engravings and carvings. Other influences include 19th century illustration, 20th century comic art, world folklore, E. Asian scroll paintings, woodcuts and woodcarving.
